Viki Oliver Loomis

Viki Oliver Loomis is a teacher and life-long student. In her professional career, she has taught Spanish and English on the high school and college levels, but her true love is teaching drama and directing plays (especially Shakespeare) at all levels. Viki's undergraduate work was in Spanish and English followed by a Master's Degree in Liberal Studies. Additional education included international studies in Mexico and Puerto Rico as well as multi-year work with Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts. She has served on a taskforce to integrate arts into all curriculum areas and is a drama consultant and workshop presenter. Locally, she has directed, choreographed and/or designed sets for over 50 plays and musicals, served on boards and committees for the Centralia Cultural Society and  their Arts in Education program in addition to participating in member groups. She also created Actors in Action in order to teach drama classes and direct plays for teens and college students.
